Aubrey

Aubrey's headstone finally came! We just had a conversation about whether to put an exclaimation point or not. It is tough, because it is really "bitter-sweet" for us.
We are excited that now there will be a marker on her grave so that people will know that she is there and that we do have a beautiful baby girl.
On the other hand, it is a reminder that we have lost our child. It has been incredible to see many good things come from our experience. We are so blessed, in so many different ways. However, we miss our Aubrey!
If you are ever in the Mesa Cemetery, stop on by and see her headstone. It is kinda close to the front, ("front" meaning Country Club Ave.) in the baby section!

Aubrey's headstone looks very nice. I just want you guys to know that I still think about you and your little girl very often. It will be wonderful in the next life when you will get to raise her.

Oh Kam. What a beautiful headstone. When we all meet in Mesa next month (hopefully), her grave will be first on the list of things to do. What good parents you are.

What a sweet post. I love that you're keeping record of all of this. Just think about all your other children, and how they will be able to see what amazing people you are, just from what you've recorded. I'm sure all your kids are having a blast with their new pet! ;D You guys are so great!

You're right, it's so bitter sweet. Thank you Kami and Steven for being the greatest examples of making this tragedy into a strength.

We all feel your pain, but we also feel your strength and your faith.

A beautiful headstone for a beautiful spirit.

I love you. :)

Hi! You don't know me but I went to H.S. with Steven. I ran into his parents in the temple a while back and they told me about your loss...I am so sorry. But I also appreciate your strength. Thanks for inspiring me to stay strong and faithful. Tell Steven hi for me. Thanks!

I am so glad it came. It is beautiful. I can't wait to see you guys. Jay still prays for Aubrey every prayer he says. It is different everytime what he asks, but he usually prays that you can hold her again. I just wanted you to know that. Love you both!

It sounds close to my little cousin that died really young thats in the front of the mesa cem. too. I will have to stop by sometimes for sure. We love you guys!

It was so wonderful seeing you in the temple yesterday. I wish I could have visited with you more. I'll definitely visit Aubrey next time I'm on that side of town. She's a special girl with special parents.

That's so great that you can have a marker and a memory. I'm sure she watches you two and feels your love everyday. I hope all is going well with your pregnancy.
